Activated my Google AdSense Account

I have just registered with Google AdSense, and voila! this is an amazing tool. It allows you to display ads from Google (well Google placed those ads for you using a selection of ads templates). What's great about this? Google pays you for each click your visitors make on the ads displayed in your page (be it a blog, just like this you're reading or a website).

Now, the best part, after two days, I saw that I have a few cents already in my AdSense account! To know more about this great stuff, check this out:

My re-furbished Negosyo.WS website

I did overhauled my http://negosyo.ws website to enable me to feature all of the online business opportunities that I have been doing lately.

I got some free templates from www.templatesbox.com and re-worked on some graphics. Its still on its beta version, not yet an awesome site, but for a newbie like me who doesn't know anything about HTML coding, its a small success for me already.

Will still make lots of improvements for it in the coming days.

Blog via email never got through

Whew! that blog I sent via email never made to this page. And, finally I realized what went wrong - I entered an inaccurate email address. Whew! Indeed.

Better try it again... Let me check... Darn, the PLDT We-Roam I'm using can't access my client's VPN network. Sigh... Better luck next time. :-)

Blogging via e-mail? Cool!

Well, I tried what the Blogger is saying about blogging thru email. Maybe I should wait for a few more minutes before that blog I sent a while ago appears in my posted blogs.

Surely, I could have missed some steps if after a day, no blog comes out from that email I sent. Can I really post blog via email? Hope bloggers can give an answer.

Tips for the Newbie Blogger - draft

New to this blogging stuff? Yeah, I am. Looking at the other people's blogs makes me wonder how much time should I spend to create such wonderful work of art - the art of writing something that interests you, and share to others.

As for me, below are the tips that I should follow (doesn't matter if the experts disagree), so I can very well start in no time (fingers-crossed, hopefully :)

1. Think of something that I want to write - or blog about.
- So far, I don't have one yet. So I will write anything that comes to my mind

2. Think of the words to write properly - NAH. Construct my blog properly - NOT THIS TIME.
- This will definitely push me not to blog forever.

3. Review my work before posting - NOPE
- I will write and post my blog - even if its still a draft. Perhaps, putting a 'draft' note would be helpful. Hmmm, let me go back at the title of this blog to put 'draft'.

4. Share my blog - YES
- Will tell all my friends, my colleagues, my clients - even my dog, Morphie, that I'm a blogger at Blogspot. Cool stuff!

The CDO Client Project Roll-Out - one bumpy ride

Arrived in CDO yesterday for the cutover of my client's project. My second visit to Cagayan de Oro started not so well. I purposely missed my flight with Philippine Airlines at 7:20am so I can do some important things in Manila. My other teams' flights also got messed up due to a storm somewhere in the Visayas area, particularly Cebu City, which happens to be the flight path to Cagayan.

All flights to CDO were either canceled (for smaller planes like Air Philippines and Cebu Pacific), and mostly delayed for an hour or two for PAL flights. I was able to re-book my flight for a 1:30pm flight. We finally took off an hour later.

The CDO flight should take about an hour and a half, and one hour into the flight, suddenly, air tubulence marred the somehow smooth ride. The plane was shaking for more than 15 minutes. From the cockpit, we heard the pilot announcing about diverting the plane to Mactan, Cebu, if, after 3 unsuccesful landing attempts at CDO airport.

CDO airport is about 12 kilometers from the main Cagayan de Oro city, and sits on top of a mountain. Visibility was 5 kilometers at that time, and pilot informed us that he will be using Instrument landing method. I'm not familiar with that, but the sound of it made me thought of landing the plane using the instruments rather than with visuals.

Whew, pardon for how I construct my blog. This is the first time I write a blog, and I am not a good writer, and I don't really much into reviewing my work to for a better sentence construction of sorts. My draft is my final piece. Perhaps, writing regularly here help me hone my skills - hope you agree. :-)
